With only 1,9 infections per 100.000 inhabitants the last two weeks, Iceland is now the only country in Europe categorized as green by Ecdc, European centre for disease for prevention and control. The daily life in Iceland is almost back to normal, with only few restrictions still. Bars and restaurants are closed at 22.00, with only 20 persons in one room at a time. Limitations in cinemas, theaters, funerals or wherever people come together and we all wear masks in public places. Other than that, life is more or less normal. Still we do not have any or very few tourists and most of us do not travel abroad.
Hopefully for us all, the pandemic will be under control in a few months so we can again enjoy travelling to exciting new places and meet interesting people.
